Michael has a special heart that he uses to love his family, to sing and to make people laugh! He was born with only half of a properly developed heart and has had 12 open-heart surgeries at the Stollery. Michael is currently listed for a heart transplant. As the countdown to lift-off continues, Michael is laughing lots and being a goofy little boy ready to explore a galaxy full of possibilities.
